Legend

Since I'm trying to keep this anonymous, I thought I'd include a legend as we go along in case my use of initials gets confusing.

D & R = my best friends - in retrospect, would now fall under the popular "frenemy" category but at the time, I thought they were what friends are supposed to be.

I have a bunch of siblings but I'll usually refer to them by an initial or "my brother" "my sister" etc. I"ll try to keep it simple. People who know my entire family have a hard time keeping them all straight....

A-Ha = Norwegian glam pop band from the 80's . Best known hits include - Take on me (they had that cool video where the girl chases the hot lead singer into the comic book and he has, inexplicably, some guy with a pipe wrench and a hard hat chasing him around. My personal fave was the very overwrought - Hunting High and Low. (Complete with seagulls in the background. Oh yes. Dreamy.)
